What people use bulk QR codes for
- Student and employee ID cards — one code per roll number or employee ID, with the name printed underneath. See QR attendance.
- Product labels and SKUs — a code per product page, batch or serial number.
- Asset and inventory tags — label laptops, tools and equipment with their asset numbers.
- Event tickets and badges — a unique code per guest or ticket number.
- Table QR codes — one code per table number for restaurant ordering.
- Personalised mailers — a unique link per customer for tracking responses.
Preparing your file
Use a CSV or Excel file (.xlsx) with one row per QR code. The first row can contain headings, such as name, id and url. You'll pick which column goes into the code and which one names each file. Not sure? Download the sample CSV above and replace the rows with your own.
Using templates
You don't need full links in your spreadsheet. Choose Custom template and write something like https://yourshop.com/p/{value} — QwikQR replaces {value} with each row's content. You can also use any column by name, like {id} or {name}. Presets turn plain numbers into WhatsApp, phone, SMS or email codes.
Private by design
Your spreadsheet is read and processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to QwikQR's servers, so it's safe for student lists, employee data and unreleased product information.
